By understanding a dog’s natural state of happiness, Lexi will create a curriculum for owners to follow, and practice. Her work begins with an initial consultation to determine where you and your dog are with basic training, natural ability for tricks/sports/games, and discipline management. At the initial consultation you will discuss any issues you may be having with your pet, and determine your goals for the training course. From the initial assessment, Lexi will create a 4-12 week training program where she’ll work hands-on with you and your dog. Two week intensive boot-camp series are also available.
After the initial diagnosis, the program curriculum will outline subsequent training sessions. Depending, you’ll meet at least once a week with sessions usually lasting about an hour. Every 2 weeks, Lexi will alter the curriculum based on progress. At the end of the course, your dog will be happier and your ability to command good behavior in a variety of situations will be sharpened.
Follow-up training sessions are recommended to ensure newly learned behaviors are being positively reinforced over time.
